So you've finally found a more permanent place to settle down. Now what do you do? Well, you could start a farm! Having your own farm provides several benefits. You can grow your own bushes and harvest different types of berries depending on what you plant. You can grow other plants that provide ingredients that cannot be gathered through foraging like Savoroot and Longrass that are needed for some cooking recipes.
Plus, once the bushes are mature and start to produce berries on a regular basis they don't disappear like the bushes in the wild. Farming is a bit labor intensive but it has long term payouts. At current max capacity berry bushes can hold up to berries at one.
First thing you'll need for farming is a crop plot. These come in small, medium, and large varieties which are unlocked with EP at different level milestones. Blueprints for crop plots and irrigation pipes can be found in airdrops as well, particularly in blue or higher. Each plot requires wood, thatch, fiber, and stone to build.
After building a crop plot simply place it on flat ground.
It will also be a good idea to leave a little bit of space in-between each box so you can place down irrigation pipes which will be discussed later.
For now, all you need is a seed, water from a waterskin or jar, and poop.
ARK: Survival Evolved Cnidaria Harvesting Strategy
After placing the crop plot down access its inventory by pressing E. From here, you can place the seed only one seed per plot in it which will be consumed by the box and start the growing process. In order for your plant to grow you also need to put some poop to fertilize it.
Any size poop can be placed into any size plot, however, turning the poop into fertilizer is better. To water your plants without irrigation simply transfer a full waterskin or jar into its inventory, select it, and click the Remotely Use Item button. Now, all you have to do from here is make sure it always has water and fertilizer and wait for a few in-game days to pass.
Your plant should go from seedling to fruiting, at which point it will start producing the goods. To harvest, access its inventory and transfer the berries to yourself. Fertilizer is far more potent than just throwing poop on your plants. To make fertilizer you will need to craft a Compost Bin 50 wood, 15 thatch, 12 fiber.
Place your bin near the crops so you don't have to run very far. Once the bin is complete gather up thatch and poop to drop into it. After some time has passed the thatch and poop will turn into a bag of fertilizer which can be placed into your plant's inventory to keep it fertilized for a long, long time.
It takes 50 thatch and 3 poops of any size to make 1 bag of fertilizer. Each bag provides 54, fertilizer compared to only 1, per poop depending on if it's human or dino.
So make sure you stock up on dino poop and thatch for your farm! Irrigation will keep your farm watered without the need to constantly do so manually. The very minimum needed to build an irrigation system is the straight pipe, intake pipe, and tap. This dossier section is intended to be an exact copy of what the survivor Helenathe author of the dossiers has written.
There may be some discrepancies between this text and the in-game creatures. Among the Island's swamp-based threats, Sarcosuchus excubitor is a lot like what you might expect from a giant crocodile: a patient killing machine.
It spends much of its days lazily waiting in the water for prey to walk near. That said, it is not opposed to scurrying onto land and pressing the issue when hungry. A good tactic for escaping many predators is to jump into the water, as most are slow swimmers. This is a bad tactic for escaping a Sarcosuchus, obviously, as they are actually faster in the water than they are on land.
Whether in land or water, it utilizes a well-rounded arsenal of attacks to display its prowess as a hunter. If it desires to grab a predator and spin into a death roll, quickly lunge forward for a surprise attack, target a foe directly behind it, its able to do so with extreme ease. Sarcosuchus is a ferocious creature that even causes the fearless piranha to flee at the sight of it. Despite being river-dwelling creatures, Sarcosuchus seem quite at ease in the oceans. More than a few fishing communities use them as mounts simply to help fight off megaladons, or to gain better access to the resources found within the reefs.
Sarcosuchus excubitor is a highly aggressive species and will attack with its massive elongated jaws, like most modern crocodiles. They often lie perfectly still in their river habitats, seeking the perfect moment to ambush their unsuspecting prey. Occasionally, they will scurry onto land to kill prey including humans.
While they lack the health of a Megalodonthey are quicker, have more stamina, and are capable of land-based locomotion. They're always highly alert, and always immensely dangerous.
They have even been known to jump on boats. They are excellent hunters, due to their power and health; in packs, they can take on the famous Tyrannosauruswhich makes them excellent guards as well. Their arsenal includes a variety of attacks, making them dangerous to deal with even with a large dinosaur mount.
Sarcosuchus are a very large species of crocodylomorph, exceeding lengths of forty five feet. They can also drop as rare loot when catching fish with a Fishing Rod.
Gachas can also produce many items as well as black pearls depending on the gacha. Use an Ichthy or Manta to hunt Eurypterid. This allows you to attack and kill them effortlessly. Be wary however, the eurypterid also rapidly drains the stamina of tamed dinos and will leave you vulnerable to the other terrors of the deep. Another way to hunt them is to hit one with a Grappling Hook and then use a fast water mount to drag it to the shore, where it can be harvested by a Therizinosaur for extra pearls.
Beelzebufo do increased damage against Eurypterid and also gather black pearls at an increased rate. The following creatures reduce the weight of Black Pearl by the listed amount while it is in their inventory:. A black variant of the clam, like Silica Pearlscan be found in Ragnarok. These can be harvested for black pearls. Black Pearl collection from said clams now scales with the Harvest Amount setting of your server.
A black variant of the clam, like Silica Pearlscan be found near the rivers at Graves of the Lost. These can be harvested for black pearls, but can be dangerous due to radiation and nearby threats Such as NamelessRock Drake and any aggressive dino dropped from above. Moreover, unlike the clams that gives Silica Pearls, the clams disregards loot drop multiplier from server setting, and as such does not give extra Black Pearls at any rate past 1. In ExtinctionBlack Pearls can be produced by Gachas.
This allows one to easily acquire large amounts of Black Pearls by feeding Stone and other resources to a Gacha. These creatures have a small chance of dropping black pearls. Black Pearls are the preferred, but not exclusive, food of Tusoteuthis. Below are all of the black pearl locations for Ragnarok.

Thorny Dragon. The Water Reservoir is a standing storage device for containing water. It will act as a temporary water source in case the irrigation network's normal water source is compromised in some way.
The reservoir can hold up to water. It can't be filled up by connecting it to irrigation pipes, but it automatically fills up during rain or snowfall. Because of this, it is extremely useful when making new extremely inland bases, or bases up on mountainsides, as long as it is not undercover from the rain. While you can fill the Water Reservoir using a WaterskinWater Jar or Canteenyou cannot directly refill a waterskin, water jar or canteen from the reservoir.
Connect a tap to a pipe that the water tank is connected to. The water will flow out of the tap to drink from or to fill waterskins or jars.
